Aspire Tours is thrilled to unveil our latest offering, a day trip from Denver that we’re calling Denver, Red Rocks, & Beyond. Since we’re always pushing things to the ultimate, we decided to take two of our tours (Seeing Denver + Foothills Explorer) and combine them into one mega tour that hits all the highlights of Denver and gives you a little taste of nature’s playground in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Crafted especially for those with limited time and no vehicle, this four-hour half-day tour is your ticket to experience all of Denver's must-see highlights. From historical landmarks to cultural gems, a visit to the world-famous Red Rocks, and panoramic views from Lookout Mountain, this tour has it all. Typically, people flock to Colorado for the mountains. While the Rockies are indeed stunning, many of our visitors miss out on exploring the thriving cultural hub that is the Mile High City. This tour will give you the best of both worlds.

Let’s take a look at what you can expect on this incredible day trip from Denver.
Part 1: The Denver City Tour
After meeting your guide at the accessible and gorgeous Union Station, your local guide will greet your group and prepare everyone for the tour. You’ll begin your journey with a captivating city tour, passing by Denver's architectural wonders and key meeting points. Marvel at the striking Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Civic Center Park, and the renowned Denver Art Museum.
Then it’s time to embark on a drive down historic Colfax Avenue; at just under 50 miles in length, Colfax is the longest continuous commercial street in America. Along this route, you'll encounter local dive bars, charming eateries, and lively music venues in the Capitol Hill and Five Points neighborhoods, immersing yourself in Denver's rich heritage. We’ll make our first stop at City Park to snag pictures with the city skyline and Rocky Mountain backdrop.
Next, your guide will take your group to the north to admire the vibrant murals in the thriving River North (RiNo) Art District. You’ll pass by the beloved Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, and savor coffee and empanadas at a local hotspot.
Part 2: Head to the Mountains
Next, your group will leave downtown Denver and head towards Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. We’ll get out and explore this natural wonder nestled within the heart of Colorado's rugged landscape. It’s the perfect spot for a photo op, and the site boasts a Museum and Hall of Fame, where visitors can learn about the landscape and see a detailed history of all musical artists who have graced the stage. The Beatles, Grateful Dead, U2, Willie Nelson, The Chicks, and Stevie Nicks have all performed at Red Rocks, as well as countless others.
After leaving Red Rocks, your group will head to Lookout Mountain. This epic viewpoint offers invigorating mountain air and sweeping vistas of Denver, Golden, and the magnificent Rocky Mountains. It's a picture-perfect moment to cap off our journey before we return to Union Station.
Lookout Mountain is more than just views - it's also the final resting place of Buffalo Bill himself. Perhaps the best known figure out the Wild West, William Frederick Cody, known as Buffalo Bill, was an American soldier, bison hunter, and showman. Hid museum, grave, and gift shop are some of the most iconic (and amusing) attractions in the Denver.
