A Family Run Business

Aspire Tours was founded by Kathrin Troxler and expanded into a family operation with a collection of like minded individuals with a passion for the outdoors.

Kathrin Troxler

Kathrin moved from Switzerland to Colorado in 2001 and made it her home. She loves to share her passion for nature with people. She worked many years as a guide before she decided to start her own company. The tours are designed to experience Colorado like a local with a local.

Brian Erdner

Born in Northern New York, already as a child Brian had Colorado ski posters on his wall dreaming about moving West one day. He brought his love for outdoor sports with him and was an enthusiastic team player from the day the company started.

Brenden Reaves

Account Manager & Sales

Brenden is new to the Aspire team and we couldn’t be luckier to have him. Born in Westminster, Co he loves exploring this amazing state with his wife and son. He’s the guy you talked to while booking your tour! Lucky you.

Tara Reaves

Operations & Customer Service

That friendly voice you hear when you call our office is probably Tara’s. She grew up in upstate New York where she was an All-American State Champion basketball player. Now she applies her talents to ensuring our operations run as smoothly as possible, and to raising her 4-year-old son, Colton (Aspire’s next top guide in training).

Kristen DeWolf

Operations & Customer Service

Despite family roots in California, Kristen happily grew up in Arvada, Colorado where she could play and explore throughout her childhood. As a graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism, Kristen has chosen a career that allows her to share her passion for the Colorado outdoors with others and could not be more enthusiastic about it.

Brendon Henning

Brendon was nine months old the first time he visited Rocky Mountain National Park. And ever since then, he knew he belonged in the mountains. Although he’s still an avid Husker fan, he escaped the flat lands of Nebraska and dabbles in any outdoor activity he can. He’s a bad fisherman, an okay skier, a decent runner, and an excellent hiking companion.

Ryan Dibala

Ryan is our resident Johnny Appleseed, eagle whisperer, and all-around legend. He planted over 3000 trees while he was living in Panama, raised and released bald eagles in southern California, and survived a flesh-eating virus while volunteering for the Peace Corps in Ecuador. And now you have the chance to join him on his next adventure with Aspire.

Nora Holmes

As a native Coloradan, Nora has experienced most everything this incredible state has to offer. She loves everything from rafting through class 5 rapids to relaxing camping trips — she estimates she has spent at least 365 nights sleeping in a tent. When she’s not in the mountains, she continues her quest to find the best veggie burger in town and picks up some bruises with the Glendale Merlins, a Division 1 women’s rugby team.

Mel Georgi

Mel is originally from Santa Barbara, CA and previously worked as a sea cave kayaking guide and naturalist at Channel Islands National Park. The mountains of Colorado lured her away and now she’s enjoying leading hiking tours and more in the Rockies! She holds a degree in Philosophy and Communication from the University of San Diego. Before coming to Colorado, Mel lived in New Zealand for a year where she fell in love with backpacking and the outdoors. Nowadays, you’ll find her backpacking through other countries like her favorite destinations of Thailand, Canada, and Norway. When she isn’t leading tours, she can be found either hiking, rafting, surfing, or watching Friends. Mel loves educating and engaging people with the outdoors, which is why she’s so happy to be part of the Aspire team.

Jeff Brown

If you have a favorite band, Jeff has probably seen them live. But as much as he likes going to shows, Jeff would prefer playing them. He once rocked the famous Little Bear Saloon, a stage Willie Nelson frequently graced. And while he works towards playing his first show at Red Rocks Amphitheater, he enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and paddling.

Susie Watson

Susie is the embodiment of the word “passionate.” Don’t let her small stature fool you — she has a fiery energy for life that spreads to everyone around her. After growing up in a military family, and an Army veteran herself, she planted herself in Colorado to enjoy the natural beauty all around her, mostly through trail running and mountain biking.

Tour Guides

Jem Thompson

Although born in Fort Collins, Jem has spend years traveling abroad and bike touring. He traveled to over 30 countries in 2 years. He holds a degree from CSU, and also attended Radboud in the Netherlands studying Dutch Art and History. Jem enjoys rock climbing, breweries, and attending concerts.

Jed Gallaher

We found Jed working at a coffee shop and stole him. We had to have him because… well, when you met him you’ll understand. Huge outdoor enthusiast with incredible knowledge about Colorado.

Gentry Catlett

If you see a girl bombing the sidewalks downtown in roller blades, that’s probably Gentry. Growing up in Louisville, it didn’t take long for Gentry to find her adventurous spirit. She spends her winters cross-country skiing in Rocky Mountain National park, and her summers hiking any 14er she can get her boots on.

Austin Gloss

Saying Austin loves to travel is an understatement. He’s been to almost as many countries as years he’s been alive. Ask him about the time he drove on the world’s highest highway in India, or about the time he crossed the Australian subcontinent in a van without AC. Between trips, he likes to yoga, cooking, and meditating.

Win Park

It’s easiest to let Win describe himself:
“I am a Yoga teacher, a body worker, Chakra cleanser, sound and vibrational therapist, a Reiki master, Craniosacral therapist. And one of the best storytellers!
I have helicopter-skied in Russia and have a first descent named after me. I was also in a Warren Miller movie.” Go ahead, ask him to tell you a story.

Matt Edrich

Matt is a Colorado native and Denver local, having spent the first two decades of his life getting dusty, dirty, humbled, and honed on all the terrain that the Colorado outdoors have to offer. After trying his hand at medicine and illustration, and an extended walkabout across Asia and Australia, Matt returned home to the Rocky Mountains and to make Mother NEATure the focus of his career. He earned his Bachelor’s in Ecosystem Science & Sustainability from Colorado State University and lucked out in a big way when he joined Aspire, where every day he gets to shine bright lights on the wondrous workings of nature. When he isn’t helping you create a sense of place, you’ll find him negotiating his way up cliff faces, foraging wild mushrooms, playing on slacklines, and generally wandering off the beaten path.
